DANCURE 246-06
DANCURE® 246-06 is a very reactive isocyanate hardener which is free of chlorinated hydrocarbon solvents and mainly tri functional and of a light-coloured aspect. DANCURE® 246-06 is solved in ethyl acetate and is applied for the curing of polyurethane, polychloroprene and natural rubber adhesives. DANCURE® 246-06 is added to adhesives, sealants and coating compounds in order to improve the resistances against high and low temperature, chemicals and hydrolysis. In case of metallic surfaces, DANCURE® 246-06 can be used as a surface primer for a later coating or bonding. With regard to the total formulation, we recommend the following amounts to be added: 4 - 10 % to be added to PUR-adhesives 5 - 10 % to be added to polychloroprene adhesives 3 - 5 % to be added to natural rubber adhesives DANCURE® 246-06 is added to the adhesives a short time before they are processed. After adding the curing agent, it is important to observe the pot life of the adhesive-/hardener mixture.
